Teaching Philosophy

All golfers have swing characteristics that are unique to only them. My teaching philosophy is to have each student understand their swing characteristics, flaws and how these characteristics affect ball flight. I then offer solutions to improve the students swing motion consistency. It is also important that the student understand the pre-swing principles of the golf swing. Improving any one of these principles will affect the motion of the golf swing. Properly fitted clubs are essential to the students ability to improve the pre-swing principles, swing motion and the balance of the golf swing.

Balance is a key ingredient to improving consistency of ones golf game. Balance can take shape in different areas such as setup, in motion swings and finished balance position. This is what I consider a common thread that appears from the short game to the full golf swing.
